In The Big Apple is a public education system by the name of Middle Creek High School. It's not the best but isn't the worst either. Scandal, controversy, and pressure are what keeps these kids alive. Bubble gum and nail polish is the last thing on their minds. Simply surviving is an accomplishment in their eyes.
However, not everyone attends high school. Some are teachers, some are drop-outs, some are graduates. Most of them are drop-outs simply because they needed to get away from their ever-nagging teachers and parents. Drugs are dealt and consumed by the drop-outs while the graduates iron their Armani suits and head off to work.
